Creamy Yogurt Sauce Recipe

Our creamy yogurt sauce recipe was created by our very own head chef and co-founder, Alida. With thick Greek yogurt, refreshing cucumber, and tangy spices, this delicious sauce is the perfect topping for our savory Burek (flaky phyllo swirl stuffed with savory fillings)!

Ingredients:

2 cups thick Greek yogurt

1 medium cucumber, peeled, thinly diced

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 tbsp chopped dill

1 tbsp white vinegar

Salt to taste

Optional: olive oil and paprika to sprinkle on top

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl, adding cucumber last. You can grate the cucumber, but keep in mind that it will liquify the sauce. If you decide to add grated cucumber, strain the excess liquid through a cheesecloth. Optional: drizzle with olive oil and paprika.
