Until COVID, we were selling our all natural baked burek at outdoor pop-ups in NYC and NJ. In the beginning of the lockdown last March, you asked us how you could still get our burek, so we quickly pivoted to selling them frozen and ready to bake for you to enjoy at home. We drove around NJ and NY delivering burek ourselves!
Prior to the pandemic, we were baking our burek at outdoor markets. People would come from everywhere to try delicious food from around the world. Our mission is to connect people through the love of food and the COVID-19 pandemic made it harder than ever to connect with people. We got to work and soon our frozen ready-to-bake burek was born.
As demand increased, we started shipping nationwide and have been blown away by your overwhelming support. We have shipped our delicious phyllo treats to almost every state! It is through continued support, sharing of culture, and food's ability to foster connectedness that we have gotten to where we are.
