The Republic of Croatia has so much to offer, included endless miles of coastline. In case you've never been, start your journey with us to inspire you to visit this beautiful country. Check out some of our favorite things in Croatia!
We couldn't mention places to go without including this amazing city. Dubrovnik is popular for a reason. In addition to it's beautiful landscape and location, you can't just view this place from the outside. Adventure into this city to experience everything it has to offer. Once you take a step inside, there's so much to do (some of which we've included!)

This is one of so many places you must eat on your trip. While we have endless recommendations for picturesque restaurants with delicious food, make sure you're not skipping the mom and pop establishments that are sure to wow you. Not only does Amélie have delicious food, it has an amazing view and location with so much to do around it as well.
Whether you want to walk, dance, or ride, Croatia has activities for everything. Don't limit yourself while you're traveling and do as much as you can! You've heard it from us and you've heard it from all who travel to Croatia - you must go visit Diocletian's Palace. Although ancient, this palace continues to support the community of Split. Also, don't forget to look at seasonal events when you travel. In the Summer especially, you can find so many fun festivals and events. One of the most picturesque things to do is traveling via ferry. There is no better (or more beautiful) way to explore Croatia and it's many islands.
While this isn't just one place, we couldn't pick just one island when there are over 1000. We mentioned taking the ferry and it's up to you where you go! While of course we have recommendations, you can't go wrong with flying by the seat of your pants on this trip.
Another favorite place of ours is Rovinj, located on the Istrian peninsula. Check out this guide from Earth Trekkers for the best things to do in Rovinj. Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO heritage site, is another gorgeous attraction in Croatia. Don't miss Hotel Lyra while you're there!
These brands are great and there are so many more cool brands from Croatia! We have products from wine, to seasoning, to coffee (and of course all of our favs are products you can eat or drink!)
Last but not least, we had to include burek! We are always looking to find places that bake this special food. We found so many options but one we are so excited to try is ST Burek, located in Split. Grab some burek and enjoy it while you explore Diocletians Palace.
